I’m back in D.C. this week. We’re now over three weeks into a government shutdown.
People all across the United States are already receiving letters indicating that their health care premiums are going to double next year if they get care through the Affordable Care Act.
But this is going to impact everybody’s health care—whether you’re on the ACA exchange or not—because millions of people are going to be priced out of the system and won’t be able to afford health insurance. That’s going to make everybody’s health care more expensive.
We are ready, willing, and able to negotiate on this. We want to find common ground to protect the health care of millions of Americans.
