We're not dropping this.

As you’ve probably heard by now, this past weekend there was a live fire exercise over I-5 that had shrapnel hitting a California Highway Patrol vehicle.

This was done as part of the the 250th celebration of the Marine Corps.

We honor, respect, and appreciate our Marines, but there was no reason to put the political interests of JD Vance and Pete Hegseth ahead of the trust and public safety of this community.

80,000 cars travel on this section of I-5 every day.

It is unbelievable that a live fire over the freeway—causing closure of the freeway— should’ve been acceptable under this Administration.

I’m writing to Secretary Hegseth to demand answers. We are getting to the bottom of this. We are not dropping this and we are going to make sure that something like this never happens again.
